Change Management and Corporate Culture Change Case Study - Emirates
Follow up 8 Months After the Organizational Change Program
Upon revisiting the organization 8 months after the change management and culture change initiative, we assessed the status and progress of the corporate culture after its settling period. We found the following. While there was a drop in excitement, leadership initiative and communication from our first assessment directly after the change management program, the drops we negligible compared to the original improvements
The organization had hired an additional 113 employees. 52 of these were hired according to the new Cultural Fit guidelines and the rest had already been in the process of being brought in. Each given a culture orientation kit and were indoctrinated into the established corporate culture by a “Culture Sponsor” from the original group of employees from the initiative who also trained them in the DC psychology applications. When they began to behave in accordance the corporate culture guidelines, each were ‘graduated’ by the employees themselves and given a certificate of knowledge and acceptance as “Patriots” by senior management.
